Dental Implant
Dental implants, also known as tooth implants, are a restorative dental technology used to replace missing teeth. The procedure involves placing an artificial tooth root into the jawbone at the site of the missing tooth to provide support, followed by attaching an artificial crown to restore the tooth’s function and appearance. Implant materials are typically made of titanium or titanium alloys, which offer excellent biocompatibility and can bond with the bone to form a stable foundation. Compared to traditional dental bridges, implants do not require grinding down adjacent healthy teeth, effectively preserving the natural structure of the surrounding teeth. In addition, dental implants help prevent jawbone loss and maintain facial contours.
Our clinic provides advanced implant services using state-of-the-art digital oral scanning to create precise models for patients, eliminating the discomfort of traditional impressions. This technology enhances surgical accuracy, shortens treatment time, and helps patients return to their normal lives more quickly.

Dental Implant Procedure
1. Evaluation and Planning
The dentist conducts a comprehensive oral examination and imaging analysis to assess the condition of the alveolar bone, oral health, and overall physical health. This helps determine if the patient is suitable for the implant procedure.

2. Implant Placement
After confirming the treatment plan, the procedure begins with local anesthesia. The implant is then placed into the alveolar bone. The surgical process typically takes about 1 hour.

3. Osseointegration Period
Following the initial procedure, a waiting period of approximately 3 to 6 months is required to allow the implant to integrate with the jawbone and form a stable foundation. Only after this stage is complete can the next step proceed.

4. Crown Placement
Once osseointegration is completed, the dentist attaches the crown to the implant. During this process, the dentist ensures proper bite alignment and comfort for the patient. At this stage, the dental implant procedure is officially complete.
